We thought this years Christmas was going to be big and indeed it was. We started at 2:30 A.M. when we woke up to go to the airport. Needless to say we didn’t get much sleep.
We were hoping visit both sides of the family but sadly my dad caught the flu and we weren’t able to make it to the Lewis Christmas. He is feeling better now and tomorrow is his birthday! Everyone should call to wish him a happy birthday!
Below are some pictures of all the events that went down in Breakenridge CO for the Gledhill, Gines, Lewis Christmas.
I usually try to have a few new years resolutions each year to have a few goals to accomplish. Last year I decided to have about 3 goals. Not too many but enough to keep me focused. I think I’m going to stick with that number this year.
I feel like I accomplished all 3 of my goals from last year which fulfilling, Let’s see what this next year brings.
Eating less sugar – If you haven’t watched the documentary “Fed Up” yet, I’d highly recommend it. It’s insightful to see how the american diet has a TON of sugar in it. I believe I can stay healthy if I limit my sugar intake and I hope to put a stop to diabetes in my family.
Save for a new car – Both Beth and I have been driving our cars for about 10 years now and it’s come time to start thinking about a new one. I’d like to get something both techy and environmentally friendly. If at all possible I’d also like to not have another monthly payment. We will see how this one pans out.
Last year’s Christmas was spent with Elizabeth’s family in California, this year for Christmas we got to go back to Nebraska to see my family. It was my first time getting to meet my niece so I took a lot of pictures. WARNING: cute baby alert in the gallery below.
This Thanksgiving we had some family over. We spent it eating, watching movies, shopping at the mall and just enjoying some time together. We had Becca, Moses and Ellie (Beth’s cousin) over at our home. We also had a good time hanging out with some of my co-workers. Below are a few pics of our holiday.
